Why Diesel trucks are better than gasoline

Diesel engines typically have more power than a gasoline engines while getting better fuel economy. Diesel fuel may be more expensive than gasoline but you will typically get about 8 more miles to the gallon. Diesel engines usually last up to 300,000 miles or more unless it is a power stroke piece of shit ford. Diesel trucks will hold more value in the long run over a gasoline truck simply because they last an extremely long time. When you compare a Dodge ram 1500 with a gasoline engine to a Dodge ram Cummins it makes the 1500 look like a joke. The cummins motor will last well over 300,000 miles compared to the 1500 where you will probably get 150,000 miles. Diesel motors have downfalls but all in all they are a smart choice.
