Why Diesel trucks are better than gasoline
Diesel engines typically have more power than a gasoline engines while getting better fuel economy. Diesel fuel may be more expensive than gasoline but you will typically get about 8 more miles to the gallon. Diesel engines usually last up to 300,000 miles or more unless it is a power stroke piece of shit ford. Diesel trucks will hold more value in the long run over a gasoline truck simply because they last an extremely long time. When you compare a Dodge ram 1500 with a gasoline engine to a Dodge ram Cummins it makes the 1500 look like a joke. The cummins motor will last well over 300,000 miles compared to the 1500 where you will probably get 150,000 miles. Diesel motors have downfalls but all in all they are a smart choice.

You definitely have a clear stance ;) I have "a piece of shit ford" - a Windstar soccer-mom van - and the transmission blew in it last weekend. :( $$$!!!
ReplyDeletei think you and my boyfriend could debate for hours over this topic...
ReplyDelete...he's a fan of the ford and considers lifted dodges to be 'little peter trucks' cause they're compensating for something... lol
it depends on how you take care of your truck which determines how long it will last..
all i have to say is they're hard as hell to get in to.
