Suspension lifts are better than body lifts

When lifting a truck or SUV there are a few ways to go. Suspension lift or body lift. A suspension lift will lift up the entire truck including the frame when a body lift will just lift the body up off the frame. Body lifts are safe but at the same time they are not as sturdy as a suspension lift. A suspension lift kit can cost as much as five grand or more depending on the size and quality. A body lift kit could not exceed six or seven hundred dollars. Typically a suspension lift will cost about three to four times the money but it is a much better investment. First off a body lift is all for looks and no performance. It will give you no more clearance what so ever when a suspension lift will give you all the clearance you need. On top of giving you no more clearance underneath the truck body lifts make your truck look tacky. In my opinion a body lift is a waste of money unless you have a ford and it already looks like a piece of shit.

  1. I have a ford and it already looks like a piece of shit. ;) Nevermind the body lift for the Windstar family van. Couldn't afford one any way. This isn't your mini-review, is it? Let me know if it is. If you handed it in to me in class, then I'll find it.
